10 Ways to Stay Active--In 10 Minutes or Less


Try to be active for 30 minutes a day, most days of the week. That doesn't mean that you need to run a 30-minute marathon, though! You can break that half hour down into three 10-minute activity sessions. Here are some 10-minute activities:

1. Walk around your block.
2. Carry groceries into your kitchen.
3. Swim.
4. Sweep the floor.
5. Work in your garden.
6. Stroll through the mall.
7. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
8. Dance to a catchy song on the radio.
9. Park your car at the far end of the parking lot and walk the extra distance.
