Being Beautiful
Alma: You've been my hairdresser for 10 years. My goodness, you've seen my hair go from black to white.
Myrna: That's right, Alma. And you've always been beautiful, inside and out.
Alma: Well you do a good job, Myrna. But lately I don't feel so gorgeous. I don't have the zippity doo-dah that I used to have. I could use an energy "do."
Myrna: You've got to do more than set your hair sometimes. You've gotta set your health up right, too. You've gotta get fit.
Alma: I wish that being fit was as easy as coming in here to get my hair done.
Myrna: Well, it isn't always easy at first. What are you worried about?
Alma: I'm 75 years old and you're acting like I should go out for the Olympics.
Myrna: You don't have to be a superstar, Alma. Just take a little walk every day. Or get back to the water aerobics you used to talk about. I'm no spring chicken, but I got active and I feel full of energy.
Alma: You always have good ideas. I agree. It's time to get back to swimming. Thanks for the beautiful tip!
