• May be part of a continuing care retirement community
Pros:
• Generally staffed by a nurse or an aide around the clock for 24-hour assistance if needed
Cons:
• Can be expensive. Some seniors choose to share the cost with a roommate.
• May not provide enough assistance for people who have serious medical conditions
