Are you looking for interesting ways to get more involved in your community? Would you like to share your talents with others?
Look to your job (or former job) for clues about what you can offer to others now. For instance, if you were a teacher, can you give a talk now and then at a school, church, or community center? Are any programs in your town looking for tutors for children who are having trouble in math and reading?
If you have always loved cooking, is your church looking for someone to take care of coffee hour after the church service?
No matter what your interests are, you have a lot to offer others who could learn from your experience. Even if you don't have much money, you can share your skills as a gift to others. Look for your talents under "My Strengths and Interests" above to find some ways to share your skills.
