Mission


To promote positive aging by providing information and resources to older adults and caregivers, health and social service professionals, and policy makers.

Background


The Positive Aging Resource Center (PARC) was established in 2002 as part of the Targeted Capacity Expansion (TCE) initiative of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to improve the quality of mental health care and service delivery for older adults. PARC serves as a resource to older adults and caregivers, health and social service professionals, and policy makers.
